Cults Research

Cults is the first album from New York duo Cults. The album was released in the US on June 7, 2011 on In the Name Of, an imprint of Columbia Records. The album was recorded over the course of 2010 and early 2011. They were a new indie-pop band which released a few songs online for reviews and feedback.
There new album was made in 2010 and went onto the next year. There first album consisted of 11 tracks, which were released in uk and the US. They also introduced it on iTunes so users could download it via internet.

There first track released was called “go outside”. This was shown on their official website and was available on YouTube. This was a good hit, which surprised those people in the band. The vocals and guitarist was known as Brain Oblivion and the main vocal singer was Madeline Follin. Starting at a young age of 21 they began to sell albums.

At first the cult’s band was herd of very well by the public. There wasn’t any advertisement about their band. Most singers use MySpace as there secondary advertisement page where users can here the song for free and are free to add comments. The cults didn’t have a MySpace page, they instead gave interviews. They soon used social networking sites such as Facebook and twitter where they released more tracks.

  1. Interesting strategy... It's certainly different from older- fashioned/ more traditional ones.
Try to correct spelling mistakes, particularly in the last paragraph.
